I'm so vain I probably think this post is about me
I'm so vain (you're so vain)
You bet I think this post is about me
Don't I, don't I, don't I...

This great post was brought to my attention by Kim, an ever faithful blog friend! Thankyou for this link, Kim. I setting up this permanent link here so that I can read this postnow and in the future.

Thanks to Doug, at Coffee Swirls, for sharing his thoughts, too.

And lastly, thanks to Carly Simon for the theme song. What a great song!

You can hear the song at the Carly Simon link by scrolling down and selecting said song. My mum used to do the vacuming to this song! I love it!

Hey, you're back!

I love Carly Simon. My pastor told me once that my voice sounds like Carly Simon.

Hi Kim,

I'm glad you found me here.

Your voice sounds like Carly Simon! You rock! You should sing loudly and forever! Garrett is right: you are a cool mum!

Some of my earliest memories are of my mum listening to Carly Simon while she did the house work. I would follow her around trying to sing along even though I didn't know the words.

I so need to get a Carly Simon cd - or perhaps I'll just raid my parents collection. They'll never know.

I'm glad I could help out. I went through depression a couple summers ago and blogged my way out of it. The link for this is here.

HI momrn2

It has been a while. Hopefully I won't delete this blog, as liberating as that was.

I am glad you found the time to drop by and say hello. Glad, too, that you liked the link. There are good words there!

Thank you, Doug, for the additional link. I can see that I am going to have to spend time digging around in your blog sometime. Thank you, too, for dropping by.

Some of my earliest memories include lying on my bed during my "nap" and listening to Johnny Mathis crooning as my mom cleaned house. To this day the refrain, "Chances Are, though I wear a silly grin. . ." will take me right back to the time when I was a small child on Vincent Street and it was naptime.

I guess I just aged myself something awful. . .

(I am 50. There, I said it.)

I like music associated memories!

None of that thinking you're old, Kim. Getting older is the best. I like every year better. Please don't disillusion me!
