And I, meanwhile, have snow up to my knees. Sheesh! You know, my great-great grandfather and his brother took two paths - one went to Canada and the other went to Australia, where it is currently WARM. I got the short end of the stick, methinks.

Oh, Beck! I would love to go to Canada. I don't think you should lament the fact that you are not here. Warm weather is great although today there was kinda too much of it.
It is a beautiful spot, momrn2. I am always blown away by how spectacular it is to picnic on an island in the middle of our harbour and swim with the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and city in view. It never gets old. I love being on the harbour. It is beautiful.
