Does it have a sweet smell? I imagine that it does but we don't have magnolias here.
Yes, they are scented. The flowers are massive. They are very beautiful.

The magnolias in our area are so often touched by frost that they rarely bud out and reach their full potential, but O, when they do! They are spectacular trees.
Yes, I took this one. Actually I took about 4 of this flower because it was so beautiful.
